Ceramic Beads are harder than Glass beads. They are very consistent in shape and size so they produce a very consistent satin finish. They produce very little dust, are impervious to moisture and flow easily.

Ceramic Beads are chemically inert and will not contaminate the blasted surface.

Ceramic Beads are recommended for the treating stainless steel, non ferrous metals and some composite materials. They are also excellent for shot peening in manufacturing and maintenance, and for the peen forming of light alloy parts.
