Copper Slag is used to remove mill scale, rust, paint etc. It is an inert and environmentally friendly media for surface preparation that produces a clean surface for coating adhesion.

Copper Slag is widely used in refineries, shipyards, offshore oil rigs, tanks builders and steel fabricators. It is fast cutting and leaves a good profile. It contains less than 0.1% crystalline silica but produces less dust and typically gets twice the coverage of silica.
